In 2006, Quick Controls Ltd launched itself into the fitness industry with a touch screen personal training system. This system evolved into the Cyber Coach with the addition of aerobic and dance classes in 2008 and wireless dance mats in 2009.
The innovations within Cyber Coach led to QCL winning the National Business Award for Innovation in 2009 and winning the Inaugural Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce Innovation Award in 2010, as well as being shortlisted for a BETT Award. In 2012, Cyber Coach became the Guinness World Record holder for the "Largest Simultaneous Dance Mat Game" alongside West Sussex West School Sport Partnership.
To date there are over 1,000 Cyber Coach systems up and down the country, in Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Leisure Centres, Private Gyms, military bases, Gyms, Youth Clubs and Universities.
QCL is a member of the Institute for Sport, Park and Leisure (ISPAL), a business member of the Association of Physical Education (afPE), a Business Honours Club Member of the Youth Sport Trust (YST) and Corporate Affiliate of the Institute of Sport and Recreation Management (ISRM).
